Trap Ease Case

Trap-Ease is a fairly new company made-up by investors who sold a new mousetrap that focused on reducing the mess of a traditional mousetrap and finally gave you the option to set the mouse free once it was obtained and still alive. They bought the marketing rights from the inventor who earned a percentage off each trap sold.
Our problem in this situation is that and the starting point of the business our sales were booming. Now are sales are less than desired and our investors believe that this product has an “once-in-a-lifetime” chance. We are marketing to a certain population (woman particularly), which narrows down are playing field then we are facing problems such as delivering on time. This sets us back in ways we cannot afford at this moment.
The best solution to our problems is to advertise effectively. The investors concerned about the product being demonstrated probably and I believe the answer to this is to form a commercial demonstrating the product on networks such as HGTV, Home Network, Lifetime, ect. All of these stations appeal to woman and that’s who we are marketing towards. Also, it would not hurt to take our retailers seriously when they give us a time frame to work with. As a business we must respect our partners wishes and meet their demands.
