It natural for people to feel as if they are two people trapped in one body at a time in their life. However the reason why this emotion is lead on: changes depending on the individual. Some people personality changes depending on their environment, or even the person they are with.

I have felt this change, and still continue to feel it; however for me this change is seem by whom I am with. I am friendly, outgoing, and well spoken with my friends, but when I am with many elders I am only speak when spoken too, friendly but only to a point, polite, bow, and inviting. I am to act as a doll in front of elders, only doing what I am told and sit and look nice. In my culture this is how a woman is meant to act, nothing more, nothing less.

I believe that these feelings occur, because of what is seen as acceptable by previous generations, and what the current generation see's as acceptable. I see this mostly in my parents and myself, my parents will stay in their room and study all day, will I have to go study in the library or a coffee shop to do any work. Parents have always told me how they would sit with their family and eat dinner; however we never have family dinners unless it's a holiday. There are many thing that that my parents view different from me, but a big that they view different is talking to boys, for my parents woman and men never speak tell they are engaged, will my generation it is very common for girls and boys to be friends. Although there are many things that my parents do not view the same, I still value their view because to me it is a part of who I am.
