Essay Preview: People Have Debated for Thousand of Years If God Really Exists
People have debated for thousand of years if God really exists. If you look at the complexity of the planets and how they are designed and how they are sustained, the existence of God is seen. The earth is perfect just as it is. The earth's size and corresponding gravity holds together a thin layer of oxygen and nitrogen gases. If the earth was bigger its atmosphere would contain free hydrogen just like Jupiter and if it was smaller, the atmosphere would be impossible to live in. the earth is the only planet in the galaxy that has an atmosphere filled with the right mixture of gases (Gardiner, 2006). This amount of gases is able to sustain animals, plants and human life. This is a clear indication that God exists. The universe takes care and sustains itself in such a complex manner that cannot be explained. This clearly shows the work was done by a supreme being. This work can only be explained by that God does exist and he is the one who maintains the universe.
The Turing Test
The first question in the Turing text to the computer would be to determine who two people in a conversation are telling a lie. For the computer to answer this question it will first have to apply two metaphors sequentially (Moor, 2003). This question will prove it had to analyze since it does not know the distinguished features. The second question would be on which particular month does Christmas fall in and it should not be mention the date. This will be kind of difficult since a computer can not decide to join in a good conspiracy against itself in order to defeat the ostensible purpose of the task that is before it.
The third question would be who wrote the best string Quartets. The computer will require the ability to apply comparative aesthetic discrimination as Schumann did write a few string Quartets but Schubert wrote more and of course is famous for them. These response would have to be given to a human being in order to confirm them to be true since a computer is just but a machine (Moor, 2003).
