This organization is undertaking changes which are external and internal. They include:
Internal
Service- The ability to provide quality care to the patients. Tend to their needs with the utmost satisfaction. Scheduled appointments, appropriate staff for the patient nees. Transportation for the elderly and/or disfbled. Avalability of staff to speak theappropriate language of the community.
Weaknesses- Lack of staffing and opening of additional hours. Availability of snacks and/or lunck for patients with several services rendered throughout one day. Additional volunteers to helpprovide the services for childcare, spa treatments. Authorized social worker services to assist with daily life matters. Finding appropriate healthcare for the ininsured. Providing staff for language barriers.
External
Opportunities- Home Visiting nurse service care, affiliation with additional hospitals, larger dental service. Provide tuition reimbursement for education continuance of staff. Provide in house training for for personnel regarding the manner in which patients are cared for. Ability to open additional locations in other communities based on the program guidelines. The structure of this organization is to provide service to communities with language barriers. We provide comfortability in the community with people of the same culture.
Healthcare Management 4 Threats= Patients with lack of insurance. Ability to obtain adequate volunteers. Low funding due to the inability to obtain government funding. The continuous improvement of the business is to open additional facilities within communities that have a majority of cultures that have low English speaking people. Provide more services to make patients comfortable with receiving services at this organization. Offer visiting nursing care to visit home bound patients or patients that may need periodic care such as physical therapy
The outcome for future goals are to make this facility an outstanding organization that puts the needs of the patients as a priority. The services problems are the insufficient hours not suitable with the working class.
To eliminate gap performance we must have the capable staffing for all service needs available. More availability office hours for patient care. Our goal is to continuance of service to people of non English speaking communities. Have medical staffing that speaks the language within the community. Have office hours available for times that are appropriate with patients. Offer all needed medical services and medical services for the patient's needs. Currently we are affiliated with all hospitals as they are more apt to take patients without healthcare. We would like to become affiliated with all hospitals. This will provide us the need to transfer patients if needed to a hospital that specializes in the types
