NATURE OF HUMAN BEINGS
1. What is the nature of the human being?
Human beings nature is to survive. Every person has the nature to survive. The need to live. Even before we were born, when we were inside our mother’s womb, she would do anything to keep us alive inside her until we are released on this earth until we grew up. Human beings need the necessary resources to sustain all our needs essential to our body, mind, and soul. For our bodies to live and survive, one must eat, drink, and breathe. Human beings need food, water, and air to live, for their bodies to survive. Human beings nature is also to learn, for learning is also part of surviving. To learn to survive. Our mind is a wonderful thing that can process a huge amount of data. As we grow up, we learn new things every day, and experience how to live in this world and in our society. To learn from our culture and finally knowing who we are and what our purpose is in this world. Human beings nature is to die. We all find out and know sooner or later that our bodies only have a limited time in this world but we also know that we all have a soul, a spirit that’s part of who we are as human beings. And the soul is what gives us faith and hope that our lives here on earth might be temporary but our souls will remain for eternity.
Human being’s nature is to belong to a society. As the saying goes, “No man is an island.” We are born into this world, as a part of a family. Even if our family is incomplete, we are raised into our society, with the people around us. And as we grow up, we learn and follow our family and the people around us, and the culture that we see in them. This is human nature for it is part of our lives, part of the experiences we face every day, part of who we will become in the future, and the purpose that is installed for us. Our families and our society help nurture us, and help us decide who we want to be when we grow up.
Human being nature is to procreate. We are all born through procreation, the nature of human beings to reproduce an offspring for our next generations to come. This begins as natural reaction through our hearts, body and mind. As the heart pumps blood through our body, it simultaneously creates natural emotions for human beings, thus gives urges that both the body and mind wants. As we grow up we start to build our emotions that turns into feelings for our family, for society, and for others. Until those feelings are transferred to another human being which people would call, “love.” Our bodies were naturally made for this purpose of procreation. As we grow, our bodies become mature enough for us to be ready to reproduce another human being. The reason for procreation is to continue our legacy and pass it on to our next of kin, so that our lives will be remembered in history through our children’s children.
