My Selfless Father

My father is my source of inspiration, mainly because he takes care of his family. Firstly, from the moment he opens his eyes he takes it upon himself to wake us all up, as my siblings and I are heavy sleepers, we waste the time he could use to get ready, and as a result he arrives late to his work. Even, when my dad finishes teaching at his school, he drives his car to pick my siblings up from their schools and since each of my siblings attend different schools, going around in the car makes my father dizzy. Secondly, because we are financially unstable my dad has a part-time job during the evening time. When he returns home he directly turns on his laptop to prepare for his next class, by browsing through several sites to finish his work. Every now and then, he also corrects exam papers, does presentations at his school and encourages his students to enter various competitions by also participating in a few. Thirdly, he always abandons what he wants for his family’s sake and desires, for example whenever we go out to a shopping mall to buy new electronic devices and clothes for my dad, either my mum ends up in a fashion store looking at different styles of clothes for herself or my siblings enter a toy store trying out toys on display. When he sees that they want a specific thing, he instantly forgets what he wants. Finally, because he went through various hardships in his life by taking responsibility for his mother and siblings after his father passed away, to us he is very wise so whenever he finds us in a problematic situation, he hurries to us and gives us pieces of advice on what we should do. My dad is a real hero in my eyes as I do not think nowadays many people sacrifice what they want for others, think for the benefit of others, and provide just as much as my father did to his family, that is why my admiration towards him keeps on growing every day.
