I often think of that day when all was right in the world. It was a warm summer day in July when I wore the most beautiful dress and we devoted our love to one another. I had picked out the perfect dress and it fit like a glove. When I stood before our friends and family my dress and I were the center of attention.

I remember the day as if it were yesterday. The warm sun beating down on me and hitting my dress in such a fashion that made it sparkle and shine. My dress was a simple beauty with lace and a few precisely placed rhinestones. My dress was strapless with an A-Line skirt and it was antique white in color with lace trimmings and rhinestone embellishments at the neck line and at bottom of the skirt. My dress also had a lovely bow in the back that transformed all the way down to a long train that seemed to go on forever. In my dress I felt like a princess and seemed to glide down the aisle.

As I walked down the aisle and looked into his eyes I knew it couldn't possibly get any better than this precious moment in time. My beloved husband stood there in all his glory him admiring me and me admiring him it's hard to explain just how we felt. We knew when we looked into each other's eyes that this is it for both of us and we couldn't have hoped for more. Surrounded by our friends and family we held each other's hand and looked into each other's eyes and our union was blessed by a very special person.

The preacher that joined us in holy matrimony is a very close family friend and has been since I was a little girl. It meant the world to both of us for him to be able to marry us, just as he had baptized me as a young child. He has been with my family through the best of times and also some of the worst of times. So I have to admit that since my father had passed away before we got married it meant so much to me for him to be there and be the one to unite our hearts and souls forever.

Our wedding day is definitely one we will never forget and should never forget. Mine is a story of true love and I hope everyone is as lucky as I was to find my soul mate. Always remember when love finds you to never take it for granted and always cherish every moment you have together. I know I love every moment I have with my soul mate and would be lost without him.
