The respiratory system is making up of many different organs and they all work together. The respiratory system is the system that help us breath in and out, so oxygen(O2) can be pumped through our body and carbon(CO2) can be removed from the blood stream.(B Wingerd). The anatomical parts of the respiratory system are

1 The nasal Passage.

2 The Bronchi Tubes.

3 The Aveoli.

4 The Diaphragm.

The nasal passage consists of the mouth, nose, tongue and pharynx. The nose and mouth is where oxygen first enters the body and where carbon dioxide leaves the body. The pharynx and Trachea is where air passes down to the Bronchi tubes, the trachea is held open by incomplete rings of cartilage, without the rings our trachea might close off and air would not be able to get to and from our lungs. The bronchi tubes or the bronchioles pass air to and from your alveoli. The bronchioles are bunches of alveoli air sacs, arranged like grapes on a stem. Alveoli is tiny sacs that fill up with air/oxygen when you breathe in, they are also surrounded by many tiny blood vessels and capillaries. This is where the gas diffusion between the lungs and the blood. The diaphragm is a dome muscle, when we breathe in the diaphragm contracts and flatten out and pull down and reduces the amount of space for the lungs and forces air out.

The ten medical terms anatomy are Pharynx, Nasal Septum, Trachea, lungs, sinuses, Laryngopharynx, paranasal sinuses, Rhinorrhea, Adenoids.
