Functions of a Human Service Organization Outline
The organization up for discussion is the Veterans Improvement Program (VIP) and is about aiding the lives of veterans who suffer from PTSD. The outline discusses the purpose of the organization along with its vision and mission statement. Also to be discussed is the importance of the organization monitoring and evaluating its clients and staff. In regard to staff, the organization needs to ensure that they are also meeting the needs of their employees.
Veterans Improvement Program
Our program is named V.I.P. which is an acronym for Veterans Improvement Program. We feel it is essential that we work hard to do exactly what our name stands for -Improvement. We are here to improve the lives of our veterans suffering from PTSD. We are committed to helping improve their wellness, mental health, level of independence and quality of life.
Organization's Target Population
Veterans Improvement Program (VIP) serves veterans who served in active military service and need assistance with obtaining veterans benefits. Because VIP is a nonprofit organization, there are funding resources that can assist veterans who may suffer mental health issues, PTSD, physical disabilities, alcoholism, homeless veterans, and substance abuse issues. There is no age barrier or any limit to time-served.
