To behave ethically is to behave in a manner that is consistent with what is generally considered to be right or moral. Ethical behavior is the bedrock of mutual trust. In ethics, value denotes something's degree of importance, with the aim of determining what action or life is best to do or live.

Values that I mostly care about and would like them to be with me throughout my career are as follows, be Trustful: Recognize people want to interact with a person they can trust; when trust is at the core, it's easy to recognize. Trust defined, is assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, and truth of a person. Being trustful earns you respect in society, among your peers and in workplace also. Open Mindedness: For continuous improvement of one's knowledge, the person must be open to new ideas. Asking for opinions and feedback from people you know will enhance your knowledge and it will continue to grow, as others will also act in the same way. Meet Obligations: Regardless of the circumstances, do everything to honor all your commitments and obligations, not just in legal terms but also morally and ethically it is required. Become Community Involved: Remain involved in community-related issues and activities, thereby demonstrating that you are a responsible community contributor. Be Respectful and Mindful: Treat others with the utmost respect. Regardless of differences, positions, titles, ages, or other types of distinctions, always treat others with professionalism, respect and courtesy. Honesty: Be honest enough to give clear and precise feedback whenever asked and stay true to your words. Honesty is the best policy, I've read this in my school time and this thought is still with me.

Source of these values are from my family and the society in which I grew up. My father was in Indian Air Force, so discipline, honesty and truthfulness comes from there. He used to be strict with me in terms of my schedule and he used to ask me to give utmost importance to time, which according to him make or break an individual. He always used to say, the person who does not care about time, time never care about them. Open mindedness comes from my school days where teacher used to encourage us to be open minded and listen to others. This taught me to be open minded and a good listener and respecting others. I used to be a sport loving person and all the above values got stronger and stronger as I was always working in a team someway or the other whether it be sports, group studies, project, social outings etc.

The above values also helped me in my career to earn recognition from my peers, as I was trustworthy, honest and disciplined in my approach. I gave honest feedback to my peers, my team members. I gave all my team members a fair evaluation and they respected me for that. I never entertained any favoritism and am very professional in my approach towards evaluating in the options kept
