C. Situation Analysis
1. Competitive
In La Verne area, based on my research, there are 11 stores related to Beauty & Nail service. 5 stores are beauty salon and 6 stores are Nail salon separately until 2010. From Census report, most of beauty & Nail salons have 2 employees. This means that most of them are not big stores. For beauty salons, they usually offer haircut & styling, hair coloring, permanent waving, facial treatment and make up services for clients. Besides these services, some of beauty salons also provide manicures and sodium relaxer services for customers. And the price they offer is not high, basically speaking, it is about $15, everyone who is working can afford it, except for students.
