The company is an amusement park that features all different kinds of water slides, splash parks, water playgrounds, surfing and body boarding areas in our wave pools. The areas are age specific, and curtail to the public at large. It is built on fifty acres that was bought from a landowner in the Stafford County. After reviewing the Six flags of America, Club Theme Park Review and Walt Disney World's Codes of conduct when it comes to parks such as the water park described above. There is a set of codes that I think all parks should have implemented. The first is too establishing a set of rules for the general public. Without rules to follow, the public cannot be held liable. The park will need have these rules posted throughout the park. The first sentence will read; "all patrons of said park must obey all verbal, written, and implied park rules. No exceptions! This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Circumventing any ride restraint system in prohibited;
2. Trespassing into areas not allowed by guests of this park; and
3. Stripping naked and running around the park (Technically it's not posted that you can't do that, but this is an example of implied park rules)" (Club TPR/Theme Park Review, 2012).
Six Flags over American and Walt Disney have similar codes of conduct for their patrons such things as guest safety, behavior, dress code, and language. Numerous other codes can also be implemented for pets and smoking in designated areas.
Six Flags says it best in their opening statement on their park policies.
Because Six Flags is a family park, we expect guest to behave appropriately.
Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including line-jumping and profanity, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Violating our parks policies may be cause for ejection from the park without refund. For more information, please review the park policies" (Six Flags America, 2007).
A strong set of codes of conduct will ensure that the park remains a friendly and fun loving atmosphere.
