With the deployment of the global communication network, the bank was able to standardize and centralize the World Bank's information systems. Some of the examples of the information systems as given in the case are as follows:
i) SAP System: It consolidated 65 dissimilar business systems into one and standardizes the processes for project-cycle work, reducing cycle time with electronic approval of project steps.
