1.1 Origin of the report

The origin of the report is a requirement of our human resource planning subject. As our teacher Taskina Ali has given us this topic and gave us the freedom to choose any organization and we have selected Trust Bank as our organization. We have done the manpower analysis of this bank.

1.2 Purpose of the report

As we have prepared the report it has enriched our knowledge in relating field and we hope this report will help other students to know about trust banks manpower supply and a overall knowledge about trust bank.

1.3 Limitation of the report

* We were given a huge time to complete our report. But still there are some limitations which we will like to mention.

* Firstly we have lots of tests, reports to complete in a very short periods of time and for that reason we were unable to beautify this report as it was required.

* We had our links in the trust bank but they said some of their manpower data is confidential so there were not able to give us some information's.

* As it is a group work some of the members were not willing to visit the company practically so there was a problem

* And finally in the submission date we had our midterm and for that reason may be some of the topics will not be covered.

* Lack of experiences and practical exposures.

* Non availability of some latest data.

1.4 Methodology

Selection of the topic: the topic is selected by our course instructor and we were asked to select the organization.

Identifying data sources: essential data sources both primary and secondary had been identified which were needed to complete and workout the study. To meet up the need of data, primary data are used and the study also required interviewing the officials and staffs where necessary. Secondary data sources were files, documents and website of trust bank.

2.0 Organizational overview

2.1 Introduction of Trust Bank

Trust Bank Limited is a private commercial bank established in 1999 in Bangladesh. The bank is sponsored by the Army Welfare Trust (AWT). It is one of the leading private commercial banks having a network of 39 branches across Bangladesh and plans to open few more branches to cover the important commercial areas in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and other areas in 2008. The bank, sponsored by the Army Welfare Trust (AWT), is first of its kind in the country. In 2001, the bank introduced automated branch banking system. In the year 2005, the bank introduced ATM services for its customers. In January 2007, Trust Bank launched Online Banking Services. Customers can now deposit or withdraw money from any branch of Trust Bank nationwide without needing to open multiple accounts in multiple branches. Trust Bank Limited is one of the leading private commercial banks having a spread network of 63 branches, 7 SME centers, 67 ATM Booths and 48 Branch POS across Bangladesh and plans to open more branches to cover the important commercial areas in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and other areas in 2011. The bank, sponsored by the Army Welfare Trust (AWT), is first of its kind in the country. With a wide range of modern corporate and consumer financial products Trust Bank has been operating in Bangladesh since 1999 and has achieved public confidence as a sound and stable bank. In 2001, the bank introduced automated branch banking system to increase efficiency and improve customer service. In the year 2005, the bank moved one step further and introduced ATM services for its customers. Since bank's business volume increased over the years and the demands of the customers enlarged in manifold, our technology has been upgraded to manage the growth of the bank and meet the demands of our customers.

In January 2007, Trust Bank successfully launched Online Banking Services which facilitate Any Branch Banking, ATM Banking, Phone Banking, SMS Banking, & Internet Banking to all customers. Customers can now deposit or withdraw money from any Branch of Trust Bank nationwide without needing to open multiple accounts in multiple Branches. Via Online Services and Visa Electron (Debit Card), ATMs now allow customers to retrieve 24x7 hours Account information such as account balance checkup through mini-statements and cash withdrawals. Trust Bank has successfully introduced Visa Credit Cards to serve its existing and potential valued customers. Credits cards can now be used at shops & restaurants all around Bangladesh and even internationally. Trust Bank is a customer oriented financial institution. It remains dedicated to meet up with the ever growing expectations of the customer because at Trust Bank, customer is always at the center.

2.2 Vision
