In my opinion, one major ethical dilemma that a store manager working for Wal-Mart might be facing is conflict of interest, which basically occurs when an individual's obligations to some sort of an organization could be influenced by the individual's self interest. So, in this case, the manager of Wal-Mart might be placed into a difficult situation where there are no correct or incorrect answers. Therefore, a question arises whether the manager should choose the role of a good manager by risking his managerial position or just go along with the requests of his superiors in order to keep his job. By doing some research, I read about how ethical choices could be resolved in this situation. First, there is the self interest which in the case of the manager would be a result in a class-action lawsuit, which would cost the company so much money. This will be a good manager's solution to an ethical dilemma, but he will most likely lose his job because of going opposite direction from his superiors.
