The purpose of this lesson is to inform students on issues and vocabulary they will need o know about the concept of symbiosis.

- Students will complete 1 of 2 vocabulary activities for chapter 18, section 3. These activity ability groups are based upon assessment grades accumulated for this unit.

o Group 1. Students create a crossword puzzle using the terms from the section.

o Group 2. Students create flash cards with examples of each term.

o Group 3. Students complete a handout in which they define the words in their own words.
