Uniforms
Many decades, schools have become more of a fashion hub instead of an education place. Public schools are now debating on whether to allow the students wear school uniforms or their normal attire. There are people who think school uniforms should be a necessity for school. However I think students should not wear a school uniform. Wearing school uniforms would act against a character's, security and individualism. There fore school uniforms should be banned from school and should let the students dress up as what they please.
In today's society, students express their individuality in many different ways, one being to wear what they like. If public schools were to demand students to wear uniforms for the rest of the year it doesn’t give out anything about his/her character. A person's spirit is what can divide someone from someone else, and that can be done by wearing what they like. If they wear something bright or flashy it would mean their are a happy/excited mood. If they wear black or something it would mean they are supposedly sad or in deep depression. There are many ways to tell a meaning through a shirt, so wearing the same school uniform days on end wouldn’t have a great impact on you.
Many people say if you do wear a school uniform it can protect you, while that maybe true what is the possibility of getting attacked in the same uniform. Wearing a uniform may protect you to a certain level with some people but for others you don’t know what they world is like. You might get attacked even with or without the uniform. So why waste your time in the morning to find and wear your uniform, when you can just wear what you like and that’ll probably save your time instead of having to find your uniform. For the people that say school uniforms will get your prices reduced and protection to the max. You are wrong, this is 2017 refunds won’t come with an uniform. The store owner wouldn’t give you 5 dollars off if you just barge into their shop /and sure uniforms would give you protection but it would feel like you are in jail type of protection. So on, uniforms are a waste of money to make and to buy. Kids should feel like their free not like they should be locked up in jail or something.
