For a lot of people all over the world, tv is inherent to their lives. We are numerous those who watch films, news, entertainment, shows, who listen to music, thanks to these audio visual means. How many of us do actually take the time to reflect on how educational TV is and also on the extent to which it influences our life?

TV is generally said to be educational but if we ponder over the many ways in which it interferes in every-day existance, we may draw the conclusion that there are also numerous aspects about it.

On the one hand, it is true that tv keeps us better informed through the many types of information broadcasts such as news bulletins, cultural spots or educational channels. On the other hand, it is our choise if we decide to watch this kind of channels or if, on the contrary, we prefer to watch soap operas, for instance. In my opinion, the useful information should be watched by us all with the aim of improving our all-round education or be it just because we need to keep informed regarding what is going on in the world around us.

At the same time, we must not be dismissive of another major aspect brought to the public's attention by tv, that is mindless entertainment. Personally, I think this is a waste of time. For example, there are a lot of tv shows which promote the unimportant events of our society, spying on the private life of many public persons highlighening every mistake they make in society. The worst part of all these things is that it may influence the life of the audience watching it. In our country, there are many people who have found their life model in the figures promoted by certain channels. That is why there are people whose life goes down at one point.

In conclusion, we have to choose what is good for us to watch on tv, we must make a clearcut distinction between what things change our life positively and which negatively, for it is important to distinguish the useful channels from the unuseful ones. We should also always form our own opinion about each topic presented there and not take for granted the views expossed the the others.
