To transport the guitars from Mexico would be much simpler than from Asia. Coming from Mexico you could use strictly semi-trucks to go back and forth. Another form of transportation for the guitars could be trains. Trains have a vast amount of room so you could transport more guitars at once. Both these transportations are reliable but I would go with trains so that I could transport more at once.
To transport the guitars from Asia I would use intermodal transportation and go from airplane to train. I would have the guitars loaded onto the plane in Asia then transported to California and loaded onto trains to be transported to the sales locations. You could use boats as well but that would take longer to be transported.

When the economy slows down then we slow our business down as well, sell only what's ordered and don't stock up our warehouses.
Each one of these factors differs from each other in the fact that they each bring their own role into our company. You have to watch all of them, base your company and products on all factors in order to have a successful business.
