1. Choose a destination or use one provided by the instructor. How does this site address the four components of travel for the potential tourist to this destination?
a. The website provides information about everything. My destination of choice was New York City because I wanted to see what they would say about my home state. The site provide trivia like the most famous people in New York, where comic book characters really live, parks, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, hotels and hostels. They have opinions from their own writers and commentary from tourist visiting the city.

2. Describe in detail the three factors that determine propensity to travel. Create an example using all three of these major elements.
a. Affordability: If it is affordable to travel then people are prone to travel
b. Weather: If its hot or of weather to liking to the tourist, they are prone to travel
c. Events: Special events, such as New Years ball dropping in New York or a baseball game.

a. Its maximizing major goals of tourism and that would be:
i. Maximizing the amount of psychological experience for tourist
ii. Maximizing profits for firms providing goods and services to tourists
iii. Maximizing the direct and indirect benefits of tourist expenditures on a community or region.
2. Discuss how an airline executive might use tourism economics relating to passenger load factors, ticket prices, discounts, frequent-flyer programs, joint fares and flight frequencies.
a. He/or she would use it to forecast how the much travel would be going on during a particular season or just for the next coming weeks to guarantee that they have enough resources to supply to the consumer.
