Controlling Idea Statement
Enthymeme: Any child care provider or teacher that is physically and directly working with infants and small children should be required to be vaccinated for viruses like the whooping cough/croup cough that can easily be passed to an infant from an adult by direct contact.
Short Proposal
The daycare provider school system requires that all children who attend who are enrolled must have a series of vaccinations that are required prior to starting. The purpose of this paper will be to examine the practice of requiring child care providers and teachers to be vaccinated in daycares by arguing that it should not be a choice for the caregivers or teachers but a requirement. This will help determine whether or not parents would like their child to attend and be exposed to potentially harmful viruses. The primary audience for this research paper is parents, but a second primary audience would be those who control the enrollment regulations for daycare centers around the world. A secondary audience would be daycare providers and anyone who is involved or those who are concerned about vaccinations. For this paper, I will be the voice of a concerned parent who has been having issues with childcare and their rules and regulations for vaccinations among their employees. Vaccinations for childhood illnesses that can be took by adults also to help prevent an infant or child from getting sick may also help to slow down the rate of infant/child colds and illnesses in the daycare.
