TITLE: PROMOTING KALIBO AIRPORT
INSTRUCTIONS: Develop an IMC most significant Touchpoint to promote Kalibo Airport going to Boracay
Caselet:
Travelling from Manila to Boracay entails either using a smaller commercial plane that can land in Caticlan or using a larger plane that lands in Kalibo, which is a good two-hour land transportation trip Caticlan. From Caticlan, a short 5 minute boat trip is still needed to reach Boracay Island.
In October 2018, there was a report that a group of investors planned and offered to extend runway of Caticlan Airport to accommodate bigger planes. If this pushed through, there would be no more reason why tourists or local visitors going to Boracay would want to use the Kalibo airport.
Investigate how kalibo can still be promoted as a major part of an airline’s distribution route despite the presence of the “ New Caticlan Airport”.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Develop A MARKETING Communication STRATEGIES THAT WILL FOCUS ON SALES PROMOTION STRATEGY To creatively promote Kalibo airport going to Boracay island.
- Create and show a sample of a new proposed Brand campaign THAT FOCUS ON SALES PROMOTION ACTIVITY OR EVENT AND advertising materials to be posted along Kalibo airport .
- COME UP WITH A BRIEF SIMPLE MECHANICS OF YOUR SALES PROMO AND PRICE STRATEGY.
- Use a 6 months timeframe BEFORE SUMMER 2019 for your MARKETING plan with a 1million budget.
