Nokia is a Finnish multinational communication corporation that is engaged in the manufacturing of mobile phone, Internet, software. (Nokia, 2011)
b. Company size, number of offices, short history:
The Nokia Company is a worldwide brand. It has been in existence for almost a century, and has secured its place as one of the largest businesses ever. In 1865, The Nokia Company was founded by Fredrik Idestam and Leo Mechelin. In 1902 Mechelin, after the retirement of Idestam, expanded the remit of the company into electricity generation. After this Nokia started to develop telephone exchange parts, and this was the first true step towards the Nokia we know today with phones. (AC Cell phones, 2010 )

Its available technologies are: Mobile phones, Smart phones, Mobile Computers. (Nokia, 2011) Besides high quality products, Nokia also provides many customer services such as Ovi map; it shows you the shortest route to your destination on foot, MobilEdu; providing wireless learning directly to your device, etc.
Beside the advantages in the global market, Nokia still has faced strong competitor such as Apple, Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. Along with those brands, the race to earn the market share will be competitive.
