i. Job analysis & design
The two companies, compared to their human resources in general are the same, and both of them must have casino dealers, PR managers, lifeguards, and chefs. Other like department managers, cleaners and front-desk staffs are generally exist in each company.
As the above said, those are the special and important job of two companies. Casino dealers are working at a casino licensing member, but they represent the company, they need to use the company's funds to deal with customers. PR managers are communicating and collect the feedbacks from customers and make decisions. The lifeguard duty is to safeguard the swimming pool and the beach the safety of the user. Chefs are the most important people in a restaurant, they must according to guests' requirement to cook, and ensure safety clean.
ii. Recruitment & selection
Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands recruitment methods mainly are the intermediary company and newspapers, people also can contact the company by internet and phones.
The two companies of recruitment are need a diploma in professional college, if a person who wants to recruitment a restaurant waiter, he need to have a star hotel working experience, and be able to use English to communicate; and the person need to have patience and love.
iii. Training & development
Every new employee has training class and practices in the company; they need to learn of job-related knowledge, skills, and behavior, ability to meet the challenges of future jobs.
iv. Performance management
To help ensure that employees' activities and outcomes are congruent with the organization's objective. For example, the PR manager would give questionnaires to the customers who finish their entertainment, for improve the performance of the company.
v. Compensation & benefits
Pay structure is part of the salary, it is to agree to structure from inside the position or skills have been salary to various arrangements. Employee benefits is an important part of the compensation system, it is the organization to provide employees of pay and bonuses except outside of all material treatment.
vi. Labour relations
All staffs with the company relationship are between subordinates and owner. As subordinate every month takes salary from the owner; as owner every month on time to distribute salary to the subordinate.
