I watched the film super-size me which was documented by Morgan spurlock. Morgan was curious about what it would mean to eat mc Donald thirty days consecutive. He tries to experiment not only for himself but for the whole world. He was up to the challenge of figuring out what mc Donald means to our health and our life in general. As he started to experience his journey of eating the fast food, as days went by and was close to the thirty days, he started feeling unhealthy and eventually ended up in hospital. When the thirty day mark eventually arose, Spurlock healthy was largely different than the thirty days prior to the experiment. The doctor informed him that he is having health problems that were not present on his previous visits. Over this period, Spurlock gained twenty four pounds. For Spurlock to lose all of the pounds that he gained over the thirty day trial, it took him fourteen months. Gaining those weights easy but u bet lose them was hard. This topic is related to our class because we as the people of the United States have high obesity rates than any other country in the world. As we have discussed in the class about food and how different culture, tradition and background of people are mostly brought together by food. I think by watching this film, we as the people could realize how big of an impact fast food could be in our lives if we don't carefully choose what we eat. We should be more carefully of what we take in. Now we know what mc Donald food causes if we don't limit it or completely eliminate it, we should take responsibility upon ourselves.
