Should Police Pursuits Be Abolished?

should high speed chases be abolished, yes because they are very dangerous. high speed chases also are also beneful for the capture of a criminal. Innocent bystanders are killed and/or injuried due to lack of safety concerns. police officers are killed as well. what is the purpose of a high speed chase if its going to end in death or serious injury to a person or suspect.
there are sereval options one can take in order to comprehend a suspect. I have read that some states have high speed pursuits laws. what i do not understand is why do not every state have a high speed policy. statics states that thousands of people die yearly due to high speed chases. the sad part about all of this is the life of the innocent people, the police officers who was doing their duty to the law, looses their lives to due to that the criminal did not want to do jail.
the high speed pursuit policy, helps with the safety of everyone. not saying that one will not be hurt or injured or even die from the pursuits. but it will help everyone in the end. it is different actions an officer can take. they can use the block precessure. they can use the flatting of the tires to slow down the driver who is speeding. they have sereval ways to end a pursuit before it becomes deadly or even harmful to other around.
there are many reason why a suspect wants to flee. most of the time it is because the have a warrant, just commented a felony act or just dont want to go to jail or prision. there isnt any reason why one should want to flee a scene. contray not all high speed chases end in death or injury. the capture of a suspect is always a good thing. people do not like it when an officer gets off on not going to jail or have to pay fines if a death or injury occurs. many say that it is unlawful.
