Religion Outline
I. I. Introduction- Religion Is defined as the, belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power. With a personal god or gods, there are many different religions they all have a belief system, and also worldviews which they also have many different symbols that represents their religion.
A. Religion - The purpose of religion Is to be self-structured in life and to have good values and guideline's. Religion teaches you a lot of things life hope and morals.
B. Religion- When it comes to religion people do a lot of praise and worshiping. Religious people attend a lot of services and do a lot of praying, certain religion you have to pray more than once a day.
C. Religion- Beliefs are very Important to everyone whether they believe in a different a god or not. When it comes to religion everyone has a different belief and worships a different god.
II. Communication
A. Communicating with God or other supernatural forces makes religion people feel that more connected with their god.
B. Demonstration of faith- Some people says that there is no god or gods, so they want those who believes in a god to prove that their god is real.
C. Enhancing of identity- Expects you to have a certain level of education and knowledge about that religion. This would show that you are very serious and have a strong belief for your religion.
III. Religious food that is required
A. Food Is Important because it plays a huge role when it comes to Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and ect.
B. Food can also be a study when it comes to religion, in some religion you can't eat certain foods because they don't believe in eating certain animal or eating any animal at all.
Some religions believe in praying over their food before they eat, they feel like they should bless the food that their father who is also their god has prepared for them.
IV. Christianity
A. Christianity comes from the ancient Greek word Khristos which is Christ and, it means the anointed one Christianity teaches about Jesus who is presented in canonical gospels and new testament.
B. Christians believe that Jesus is the son of god, there are three Christianity groups which are orthodox churches, and the various denomination of protestantism.
C. People who believe in Christians faith are called Christians, People look for hope, guidance, belief, and a god
Christianity began a tradition of visiting a tomb of Jesus around 50AD.
