Racist Voting
There is speculation and questions about possible racist voters in favor of Obama's democratic campaign. There are current rumors that because of these voters, President Obama and his party have taken office. People in general should not be voting for or against any candidate with racism playing a role in their decision-making. Our nations future is on the line when we choose our leader, as we defame America as a whole when people are tying in racism with their voting practices. Especially African Americans, who have been fighting and dying for voting rights within the United States for centuries. It's an insult to our hard working and politically determined citizens when you vote for an individual based on their skin color while not considering their views and policies. There was a radio quiz done on YouTube interviewing ten people who voted for Barack Obama. Of these ten voters, they all chose Barack Obama. Having been asked a few questions about Obama's Campaign, none of them had any remembrance of his views and policies. That's a perfect example of possible racist voting because they are not politically educated enough to make a thorough decision when voting for a possible leader. It shows poor judgment and lack of interest in politics amongst citizens. People who aren't seriously involved in our society have no reason to vote for a leader. It just shows how people see politics, as not being that important like it's just a fun contest for votes. I believe firmly that many people voted for a candidate because of word of mouth without even considering how they feel about issues and policies given from each candidate. The presidential election controls who runs our country and who we as Americans trust to lead us to become a more perfect union.
