Of Mice and Men
Yes I think, George's decision to kill Lennie was justified because it was more considerate I think it was more considerate because Lennie was going to get tortured anyways. George killing Lennie is more humane because people shouldn't have to suffer, it was George's responsibility to kill Lennie, and since this isn't the first time he almost killed somebody. First, Lennie was going to get tortured anyways. Curley had a gun and was trying to find Lennie to capture him. Also, Since Lennie killed Curley's wife he would want to torture him. Secondly, George and Lennie could move to a new barn and it could happen again. The same sort of incident already happened once before and George didn't want anyone else to get hurt. The decision to kill Lennie was good because there's no reason for anyone else to get hurt. Lastly, I feel that it was George's responsibility to kill Lennie so no one else should do it but George. Since George and Lennie travelled together they were close friends. Also, if George didn't kill Lennie he would have probably had a much more painful death. In conclusion, I think that George's decision to kill Lennie was considerate because people shouldn't have to suffer, it was George's responsibility to kill Lennie, and since it wasn't the first time Lennie hurt somebody. And then they went to their big house and had some breakfast together and enjoyed a nice family Christmas. They all live happily ever after. What a warm Christmas.
