My New Journey

My career goal is to become a Registered Nurse. For the past two years I have worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and I have recently made the decision to return to my studies with the intent on becoming a Registered Nurse. I am a single mother of two boys, and I have selected Distance Education through A University, so I am able to remain employed to support my family. One challenge I know I may face is finding the balance between school, work and my children, but I am confident it is achievable. I have been very successful in my current roles. Due to my drive and abilities I am excited to challenge myself even further in my career path. Remaining a positive and confident role model in my sons' lives continues to be an ongoing goal. When I do things that make me feel proud it reflects off of my sons' and that is an extrodinary feeling. It makes my goals worthwhile. I look forward to the challenges I may face and I am in the mind space to conquer them to the best of my ability. I feel positive and courageous as my new journey begins.
