My First Wreck
It all started on warm summer night in June. My brother Mikel, his friend Heath and I went to a party at our friend Makayla's house way out in the country. We arrived at her house around 9 o'clock at night and we started drinking right away. There was so many of our friends there and we were having a good time until my brother starting getting sick.
I turned to Heath and said "we need to leave, Mikel is getting sick, so we need to get him home." So we got Mikel in the car and Heath asked "can you drive?" I replied "No." I asked around if anybody sober could drive us home but nobody was sober. Heath finally said "get in the car, I'll drive. I asked Heath "are you sure you can drive home?" He replied "yes."
By the time we left the house it was around 2 o'clock in the morning. We were going down the winding dirty roads going about 70 mph. I turned to Heath and yelled "slow down." Heath just kept going the same speed, until he hit some loose gravel and the car went spinning until it came to a stop from hitting a tree. The car spun so fast it felt like I was riding a roller coaster. I thought it was all a dream. Finally I had realized we just hit a tree. I felt a sharp pain in my legs, almost like somebody had dropped something really heavy on them. I had looked down and my knees when caught up under the dashboard. I started crying, Heath asked "are you ok?" I turned to him with tears in my eyes and said "no."
Heath's door was caved in from when he hit the tree on his side of the car. So, he climbed out of the window. He looked in the back seat to make sure Mikel was ok. Mikel was lying in the floor and he seemed to be ok. Heath was so mad at himself because he wrecked his brand new car, so he punched the car like an idiot and put a dent in the backside of it. I said "Heath stop being dumb and call somebody for help."
Heath had got my dad on the phone and he said "your dad is on his way." In the mean time Heath tried to get my legs unstuck but, the seat wouldn't move back. Then he tried moving my legs but, the pain was so unbearable I was screaming like a 2 year old. Finally he stopped and made his way around the car to inspect the damage he had done. He had put a dent in the driver side door, popped the back two tires, and the dent he had put in the back driver side from punching the car.
After that my dad had arrived to help us. My dad made Heath call his parents and them he had a wreck. Heath had to stay there and wait for them to get there. In the mean time my dad had got my seat unlocked so he could get my brother and me out of the car.
My dad had to pick me up and carry me because I couldn't walk or even feel my legs at that point. My brother was able to get himself out of the car and get in the pickup. After
