Motivation for Innovation

         Google is an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products, which includes online  technologies, search, cloud computing, and software. Most of Google’s profits are derived from ads. Google’s main focus is on innovation. Google was founded by Larry Page and Surgey Brin in September 4, 1998

The company has also gained acclaim in another area: motivation in the work-place. I think Google is such a beneficial company many of us have thought we would like to work for at one point in our lifetime because of all the good things we here about the company.

        I think that Google is doing a tremendous job with their motivation tactics, but I feel that they can apply some other theories like hiring local minorities to assist with the everyday operations of google.

 Google is already a good company to work for I don’t feel the employees lack anything to do their jobs. Google provides its employees with the newest technology such as cell phones, laptops, tablets etc. Google is also a firm believer in Education and employees get the opportunity to pay for their classes and get reimbursed for them. They also provide them with their personal company car along with onsite fitness training and onsite medical services. Google also provides the employees with paid travel for not only for them but for their own family as well. The families of google employees are covered with travel insurance and emergency assistance even on personal vacations. One thing I can say about google is that they never stop learning. They always have new ideas or projects in mind that they will consider and possibly make reality such as the robotics, innovative technology, and enhanced modern tech savvy gadgets. The question is what can Google do that they haven’t done already? I don’t think Google needs anything they are up to date on the newest technologies and they specialize in making their search engine the best possible that the majority will use. I have to say that I am a google user, whether it is on my phone, tablet or computer because I feel that I can get the best answers of what I need to know right from the search engine. Overall I can say that Google is just one of those companies that provides everything for their employees and makes them happy so that they stay and grow with the company.
