Summary of the film Midnight in Paris Woody Allen and starring Owen Wilson, Rachel Mc Adams, Michael Sheen, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, Nina Arianda, Tom Hiddleston
Gil and Inez are two young Americans engaged couples planning their wedding. They spend a few days in Paris, accompanying the parents of Inez came to France on business. While Gil is under the spell of the French capital and plans to settle there, nor his bride, nor her future in-laws do not appreciate too much. A chance encounter with another American couple whose husband is a former flirtation of Inez, sufficient and undrinkable, will help out a little more young people engaged.
Gil runs through the city in search of inspiration for his next novel and, while the twelve strokes of midnight sounded, he was invited to ride in an old car which will carry into the Paris of the 1920s. Throughout the night, he will then meet Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Ernest Hemingway, Juan Belmonte, Gertrude Stein, Pablo Picasso, T. S. Eliot, Salvador Dalí, Luis Buñuel, Man Ray, Toulouse Lautrec, Henri Matisse ... It will gradually fall in love with Adriana, who is the muse of Picasso then after that of Modigliani. But it only dreams of Paris and Maxim's of the Belle Epoque, where they eventually end up where Adriana and both remain. Gil will separate from Inez and will remain in Paris, where he will meet a young contemporary loving him as the city in the rain.
