RE: Internship Program Proposal
Dear Mr. Elders,
Establishing an internship program with Marketing Plus may seem time consuming and pose risky challenges, however, the benefits of having interns can ensure competitiveness and can lead to the overall business success of the company. An internship program can boost the short-term productivity which in turn will lay a solid foundation for Marketing Plus's long-term growth.
Presently, there are many colleges in the area that offer students educational career development and work-study programs designed to complement and increase formal education with work related experience amongst their students. 3. The intern does not displace regular employees, but works under close supervision of existing staff.
4. The employer that provides the training derives no immediate advantage from the activities of the intern; and on occasion its operations may actually be impeded.
5. The intern is not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship.
6. The employer and the intern understand that the intern is not entitled to wages for the time spent in the internship.
In conclusion, Mr. Elders, establishing an internship program can simply result in a win-win situation for both interns and Marketing Plus. You may debate whether or not establishing such a program will benefit the company, but let me assure you the benefits outweigh all the risks. All interns who take part in meeting Marketing Plus's successful objectives will greatly benefit from the work experiences, as well as, obtain marketing business potential to begin his or her future career after college. As for the company, Marketing Plus will substantially
