The legalization of marihuana is not a solution for the problems that comes with the commercialization of marihuana, even worse in countries where the consumption is relevant.
Since we have two addictive products such as alcohol and tobacco which are legal nowadays, we can notice that it would be a huge mistake to convert marihuana legal even if a certain allowed quantity is going to be imposed. Because it is a hard work to control traders and consumers, the government is going to spend a lot of money to do it in the best way.
On the other hand, although the commercialization of marihuana would be legal, it doesn't mean that mafia is going to leave the business in few days without resistance. Unless the government commits to fight with all its strengths against the mafia, the problem is going to get worse instead to be improved.
Finally I think that legalization of marihuana is a huge aim, and we are not ready yet to do it, because of the social problem that it could cause and all the control that the government have to improve, all the money that they have to invest to make this change a successful one.
