Dear Mr. Watts:
This report will outline the proposed solution in more depth than the first report. Paramount Consulting Group has compiled the research that we have done in regards to finding an IT solution for your company. We found an It solution that fits within your budget and that will solve two major problems: The paper system at the concierge desk and an alternative for your accounting department.
WORK COMPLETED
After our initial visit to Interdel, we did an industry, feasibility, and swot analysis. The team defined the problems, researched possible solutions, and chose three alternatives for your company. The tree alternatives were: TotalFBO, The Wellington-Royce BASE System, and FBO Manager. At the end, we chose TotalFBO as the best solution for Interdel.
PHASE TWO
For the second part of the project a more in depth analysis was completed on the chosen solution. We found that Interdel's computers have all the features required for running the software, however there were some upgrades needed. The employee training is estimated to take one week or five business days. There are three recommended IT companies for support that have been included in the report. As a contingency plan we suggest that Interdel use a backup server. Included in the appendix is a list of what the new system will look like.
Please let us know if we can answer any questions about the proposed solution. You can reach the company at 778-998-2323. We appreciate your business.
Sincerely,
Paramount Consulting Group

Executive Summary
With Interdel Aviation operating a paper-based system, they find themselves vulnerable to human errors associated with miscommunications. This vulnerability is ultimately compromising their mission to provide industry-leading customer service. We've developed a decision criteria and system requirements to help define solutions to this problem. Contained within are the details outlining our final recommendation, TotalFBO, as well as two outlines of IT systems we identified as possible solutions; but which failed to ultimately meet our criteria and requirements. It has been concluded that the TotalFBO system is the best choice for improving Interdel's business operations. The TotalFBO system has the lowest cost of the three systems we analyzed, and the right amount of components to fulfill Interdel's needs. The software and hardware requirements for this system are outlined, supported with pictures, screenshots and costs in the appendix. We've highlighted the impact of the TotalFBO system on Interdel's operations and output, and followed up with a feasibility analysis. The feasibility analysis covers the economic, operational and technical aspects of this solution. The report concludes with an implementation outline, supported with a Gantt Chart as well as a contingency plan for risk aversion. The appendix of this report also includes screenshots of TotalFBO's interface.
Problem Definition
The problem that Interdel faces is that they are conducting the majority of their business on paper. There are currently few systems that are paperless. The customer service representatives take all bookings by phone and email, recording them on paper. This information is then communicated verbally to the grounds crew, who then record all the information for a second time on paper. In addition to this, the Accountant has constructed her own accounting system. Although this system works flawlessly for her, any future accountants will need to be trained on the system or develop their own, as Interdel lacks an integrated accounting system.
Requirements of the System
The following table illustrates the system requirements for TotalFBO. According to Bernard, D. (Personal communication, July 15, 2012) Interdel's computer at the concierge desk exceeds the "excellent" requirements. Interdel currently does not have servers or terminal servers which will be required. Options for obtaining these will be discussed later in the report.
