Huffman Trucking Benefit Election System
In this report, we will discuss the development of the Benefit Election System for Huffman Trucking. The report will be displayed on a Gantt template using Microsoft Project software. The chart is broken down into several items with a breakdown of the time allotted, start date and finish date and has a graphical representation and a breakdown of the timetable .
The first item is defining the problem. This section will be 5 days in duration, will begin on Monday, 09, May, 2011 and end on Friday, May 13, 2011. During this phase, we will assess what the company has, wants and need for their business to update their Benefits Election System.
The next phase is Analyzing the Situation. This phase is 15 days in duration. The start date of this phase will begin on Monday, 16, May, 2011 and will be complete on Friday, June 3, 2011. This phase will cover the analysis of the program and design. The information gathered during the Define Problem phase will be utilized during this phase to determine the requirements of the company.
The Design Solution will be in 10 days in duration. This phase will begin the following Monday after the Analysis Phase is complete. The start date is Monday, 06 June, 2011 and will end on Friday, 17 June, 2011. This phase will consist of creation of the program. The definitions of what the company needs was determined in the Analyze Solution phase.
Implement Design phase will follow the Design Solution phase. The duration of this phase will be 20 days and will consist of implementation of the program design that was created in the previous phase. The Implement Design phase will begin on Monday, 20 June, 2011 and complete on Friday, 15 July, 2011.
The final phase will be the Support Product phase. This phase will be 10 days in length and will begin on Monday, 18 July, 2011 and complete on Friday 29 July, 2011. This phase will consist of supporting the computer program that has been implemented. This phase will assist in helping the client solve any issues that may arise from the program implementation and any end user technical support that they may need.
