Greeting and thank you very much for giving me the opportunity giving a speech for the Annual Dinner PIBG 2012.

Congratulations to the editorial board for successfully producing yet another volume of our school magazine. My heartfelt thanks to the management team, teachers and the non-academic staff of SMK Jalan Arang for making the school a great place to acquire knowledge and experience. At a toddler's age, the school had already proven to us its capability to mould our children to excel academically and in co-curricular activities by its achievements throughout the year.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank parents and teachers for their trust and confidence in re-electing me as the presidents of the parents-teacher association (PTA) of SMK Jalan Arang for term 2007-2009. Indeed, all the support for all parties all there year haveinspired me and bought to successes all the delineated programmers. With your blessing and god's will, our mission to shape the achieve greater higher, especially in the area of the academics will be accomplished in the near future.

As parents, our utmost concern is for our children to succed in life. We want them to have a secure future and be able to enjoy a better quality of life. Ironically, many of us are putting the weight of our demand for teachers to shoulder without even realizing it. The PING therefore play a balancing role. Working together with the educators in gilding our children into adulthood is one of the purpose of our existence, beside helping to contribute ideas, activities and funds.

The last fifty years have been seen human knowledge doubling once every few years. The western car compaines have now produced a car guided by sensor than can move on the road without being driven by anyone! The Hubble Space Telescope can see 10,000 galaxies in the sky! Our galaxy is the Milky Way, made up of 100 billion stars. Can you imagine how big the universe is? Well, there are made possible through technology! Modern technology such as ICT is at your fingertips and the potential for learning is endless. Make a good use of it. Acquire as much knowledge as you can and I believe it is possible that one day a prominent scientist will come from this school. Just show the world that you can do it!

Finally, remember to take care of yourself in whatever undertakings, and I wish all candidiates great success in this year's PMR and SPM examinations. Remember, no pain no gain! Strive harder and go for excellence!
