I am the Director of R&D department of our company. Today, I send this email for you because I think that our competitor, RAT Company, will introduce their new car on next year.
I have enough evidence to believe that because when reading their financial report, I see that they have invested a large amount of money for research and developing activity since January 2013. With information I collect from their supplier, I know that their new car will have eight seats covered in leather and they will configure its seats with three more inches of legroom than their old models. Not at all, they use the new engine SW-21 so that their car will warm up faster and has less noisy.
However, the thing that I worried much is about the economic that their car will give to customers when using. After comparing with our main product, CATHY, my team notices that with the same fuel, their car can run further than ours can. Basing on the result, RATY can travel 60 kilometers with one lit of fuel while CATHY need at least one and a half liters of fuel to do this.
Now, I am concerned about their new product because it will affect much to our sales in the future. I think if our company does not want our market share decrease, we should invest more money for not only improving our car's engine but also increasing marketing activity as soon as possible.
