Precogitated

My mother and I have never had to negotiate about the dream that she had set in stone for me when I was born. What mattered the most to my mother and I was that I would be a successful black young lady who was able to graduate high school with honors and be able to attend a historically black college or university. At a very young age she instilled in me that self-motivation, self-help, and positive intuition were solely the main goals of being prosperous throughout my life’s journey.

My mother defines self-motivation as “unpredictable”. Self-motivation is connected to your level of ambition in setting challenging objectives for yourself. You have to believe in yourself that you have what it takes to accomplish the objectives within the goals you have set aside. In life nothing comes easy so do not look for handouts, make sure that you put the extra work in now so that you will not have to struggle in the end. A key a portion of building self-motivation is to begin setting a solid but also strong objectives. These give you a center focus, a reasonable ability to read and understand directions, and the self-assurance that originates from perceiving your own accomplishment.

There is no limit to my self-motivation. I have never had to change my work ethic for my mother nor myself. The determination in my life is what brought me to where I am at now. Although my mother and I share the determining mindset her aspirations for me having a better life than she has pushes me to achieve a higher level of prosperity than she has.

Positive intuition is firmly identified with fearlessness as an element in self-inspiration. It is critical to take a quick look at things emphatically, particularly when things are not going as arranged and you are prepared to surrender. In the event that you imagine that things are going to turn out badly or that you won't succeed, this may impact things in a manner that your predictions will work out and become true. This is especially the case on the off chance that you have to strive to make progress, or in the event that you have to influence others to bolster you keeping in mind the end goal is to succeed. Having a positive intuition will help me prosper in my career, financial capabilities and in life. Moreover, although my mother and I share the same goal our intuitions tend to very at times but in the end we come to a conclusion that it is my life at hand. It is important to remember your contemplations can impact whether you succeed or fail, so ensure those considerations are in fact what you want to do. Positive thinking likewise helps you consider an appealing future that you need to figure it out. When you expect positive results, your decisions will be more positive, and you'll be more averse to leave results to fate or chance. Having a clear picture of success, joined with positive thinking, helps you cross over any barrier between needing something and going out to get it.

During my four years in high school I completed the graduation requirements by my first semester of my eleventh grade year. When I transferred from Admiral Farragut Academy to Lakewood High School I was offered to attend St. Petersburg College Dual-Enrollment program as a junior.  Going into my senior year of high school St. Petersburg College All State Campus was offering a new course that was funded by the City of St. Petersburg Police Department. The Student Police Cadet program is a pilot dual-enrollment program that allowed me to take criminal justice related courses. It gave me an early college classroom experience. In addition to taking criminal justice related courses I had the opportunity to receive additional Florida Department of Law Enforcement training. The training was to certify me as a student civilian and I would be able to become a part-time employee with the City of St. Petersburg Police Department working in traffic enforcement and accident investigations. There are so many benefits from this program, I began to build relationships with the law enforcement, my classroom comrades, and the people in my community as well. I admired this course because it promoted student success and it helped me understand how to enrich my community through education, career development, and self-discovery. This opportunity showed me the importance of responsibility in the world and as a young woman. Now I am able to apply the skills that I have learned through this program, and use it to pursue my education and achieve a prosperous life that my mother and I have both imagined.
