1. Location Based Baseball Team

i. in order to have a large fan base, you need to be in a location that has a lot of people living there

ii. Another problem is that if the stadium is set back far, then it could be hard to see from a distance. In order to solve this problem, we could make the stadium close to a major highway so that it is easy to spot if you are traveling.

iii. Not many people go to Lockport so if we promote the historical places in Lockport then we can attract more people

iv. We can advertise at places where people go a lot, such as the malls, popular restaurants, other sports arenas, etc

v. We can advertise at schools since most young adults will be attending the games

vi. We can broadcast the games on popular TV stations that a lot of people watch in order to get a bigger fan base

vii. The problem with Lockport is that it is so small and not a lot of people know about it. In order to get people interested in coming to games, we would have to advertise a lot more and say all the good parts of Lockport.

viii. In order to get a lot of people, we need to make it fun and entertaining. We can have certain nights where we are kids days etc.

ix. We can make sure that it is very family oriented so that people will want to come back

x. The more fans we have, the popular our team will become. This will cause our city to become more popular and we will have an increasing fan base

xi. In order to attract these fans, we can advertise at local places where people like to go and raise awareness of our new team

xii. We can join up with a local TV station, such as LCTV and have them promote on those channels since those are Lockport's channels and people watch them

xiii. We can also advertise in local newspapers

2. Target Market

i. For my target market, I will target not only the older generation but also the younger generation

ii. Everyone can be a target market for the baseball team because everyone likes to watch sports

iii. In order to get this target market, we can advertise at high schools and local restaurants but also larger restaurants to get our team out there

iv. If we have a large teen fan base, then the teens could wear their gear/apparel to school and raise more awareness about the team
