Create creates an entity

Once created, not put an assign block to give it an attribute. Press Add & select the ATTRIBUTE option. (Remember, this is primarily done because we have a reject option too. The attributes could also be defined in CREATE but we want a concept that will change the processing time required for the reject lot. For this, we create a separate attribute which will change values as required.) This is basically used to tell that this haircut would require 10 minutes or 15 minutes or so on. We can put a constant value here or something like 2-3 minutes (This we will do by selecting build expression-Random distribution-uniform-values from 2-3). Now that you have given this attribute add the block process. In the process block, Select the action Seize-Delay-Release. Now you add a resource, give a name to that resource and state the number of resources to be added. Once this is done, state how this resource should be delayed. Now this value is not constant & depends upon the value that comes through the first definition of attribute as defined earlier. For doing so, select expression, entity-related-variables within which choose attributes followed by user-defined attributes. Here, we are telling that the resource which is our machine is busy for a time of 2-3 minutes depending upon whether the incoming attribute states 2 or 3 minutes (Example). Thus we use the user-defined attribute of attribute 1. Follow this by using a decide which separated & accepted lot. Now the rejected lot can will require lesser work to be done upon and hence the attribute will be changed to a constant value of 1 minute. This is what is stated by the phrase-NEW VALUE. Add an entity picture here to differentiate the rejected lot from the lot which is coming for the first time. Add this to the incoming of the process which is further sent ahead. Finally use dispose.

We can add a clock to state the time required for operation by selecting clock from the function above. The option of selecting resource which will tell us if the resource is idle or being utilized and so on can also be chosen (If the name of the resource is changed, there might be an error). The font of the number can be increased.

In CREATE you can write the random exponential distribution function stating days, hours, minutes or whatever required. In this select seize-delay-release, name of the resource(barber) and NUMBER OF RESOURCES (Wharfs used as a particular point of time). After this, develop an expression for 2-3 as described before. After this, if you want to tell that the NUMBER OF RESOURCES (Wharfs) are two, go to resources in the data module (the excel look) and select capacity as 2. Finally use dispose.

To run the simulation for 2000 days, go to run-setup, in which replication length of 2000 days. Use Warm-up period as 180 days.

To find the total waiting time period, select reports
