William C. Weldon

CEO

Johnson & Johnson Co.

New Brunswick, New Jersey 08933

Dear Mr. Weldon:

I would like to express my interest in an internship position that is offered by the Johnson and Johnson Company. I am currently studying to attain my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Tufts University in North Carolina. An examination of my resume will attest to my comprehensive range of experiences with organizing, planning, and scheduling. It will also be evidence of my leadership skills through the many positions that I have held over my college career.

As stated, some of the larger requirements of this position are being organized, responsible, and attaining astute business communication skills. I've gained understanding of the components of your company through a large business report, which I have attached. As a retail sales employee, I was in charge of organizing and maintaining a timely schedule, entrusted with confidential information such as receipts and register tape, and worked closely with the public on a regular basis assuring quality customer service and professionalism. This shows my adaptability to most situations and duties within one job. In the Business Communications class that I am enrolled in, we have learned the dense curriculum behind communication in the business world, whether it is with external or internal communicators.

In addition to my work and experience, during my undergraduate education I was a member of the Student Government Association as Freshman Class President, on the Student Issues Committee, and a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Being president of my class put me at a position of leadership where I was to be an example for all first year students. I was entrusted with planning social, fundraising, and scholarly events with my fellow classmates. As a member of the Student Issues Committee, I worked closely with students on campus to aid their issues with campus and bring to light the concerns they had. As a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, I helped my fellow brothers in the recruitment, judicial, and philanthropic processes that brought us all closer and helped other individuals in the process.

I welcome the opportunity to learn more about Johnson and Johnson as a whole and the ways in which my own experience can assist your team in reaching their goals. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me at 610-342-7965 or by e-mail at apalmieri@elon.edu. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

John Wilson
