It's very hard to believe how poverty has affected this ethnic group on the 20/20 video. To go from having a certain culture and a way of life centuries ago to now not having much is just a sad sight to see. The great part is no matter from all the downs they are loyal enough to their culture to stand behind what they believe in. There are many of alcoholic problems that they have to deal with and we really have to ask ourselves if this were to be the same if things went differently. I do like the fact that with all the negativity going on in the culture the program did focus on the positive with children and how they are trying to make changes with their culture and family and friends. I think it's a very inspirational story to really have nothing and not alot of means to move up in life and still try the way they do. It is very motivating that they are trying to make themselves better no matter how many times they get brought down or how many obstacles they have in front of them. One thing is that no matter what they have heart and heart can take you really far. I would hope that our government would be able to follow up to help this culture get better and move forward.
