Bio of ZHENG

Zheng is original from China, fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Currently, Zheng enrolls University of Phoenix for her Bachelor of Accounting.

In 2007, Zheng was reported to the PSD North Island for her first command, and worked in sections of Service Record Vault and Page 4. She efficiently filed over 10,000 various documents into over 15,000 field service records, ensuring all records are up to date and maintained at all times. Ensured all records are processed correctly and accounted for using the Check-it-Out, TWMS system database. Processed page 4 entries such as awards, certifications and qualifications, PQS and courses through Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS).

From 2008 to 2011, Zheng was assigned as a LIMDU Coordinator at the PSD North Island, processing over 500 availability reports to BUPERS, reviewing over 200 weekly abbreviated medical boards and physical evaluation board results. High quality technical skills led the closing out of over 400 enlisted field service. Processes over 200 military personnel gain documents, 320 military pay transactions, and initiated over 80 travel claims with zero discrepancies. Submits over 215 NAVPERS 1070/602 thru the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS). Single-handedly revamped the entire LIMDU filing and tracking process by re-organizing all 400 records and maintaining a constant rapport with local MTFs. Accurately processed over 100 involuntary extensions and 100 operative extensions.

During the tour at the PSD North Island, Zheng was awarded Letters of Appreciation, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon.

In May, 2011, Zheng is assigned to C3F Head Quarter as a SELRES. She is volunteered in Assistant Training Petty Officer, Mustering Petty Officer, and Mobilized Coordinator.

As a mother of 2, Zheng works as a part-time job in the VA, and she is a full-time student. In her spare time, she loves to play with her kids as every parent does.
