As architecture progressed from a polite pursuit in the nineteenth century to a prominent industry in the twentieth, photography's role became critical in popularizing new development. Buildings and photographs both have a unique way of embodying "time". When photographs are clicked they are frozen moments and the visual evidence carves a deeper memory in peoples mind. Architecture and built spaces shape themselves according to the manner in which people live in and around them .Whether it is The Great Wall of China or a gas station , a building, in its immobility instils its environment with the accumulated years connecting the past to the present and subsequently to the future.

Photography is an art & science of creating and documenting images. Although a photograph is a moment captured at the precise moment, it also embodies the past and shapes the future. When observed closely a photograph bears a testimony to the existence of the subject in consideration .The aim should be to captivate the essence of the image and acquire an extensive understanding of it.
Architecture is present ubiquitously and silhouettes the lives of all living beings. Buildings inhabit & symbolise time. The five human senses are elicited by the play of architecture; the five senses also provide the foundation of creation of architectures. Spaces are created and experienced because of the human ability to sense transitorily and anticipate the imminent.
