Achieving and maintaining individual excellence is pushing oneself to exceed other's expectations, and excel in everything that one do. For example, individual traits, values, ethics, individual performance and experience help to develop and classify a person's individual quality on a professional and personal level. Individual quality will lead a person to be a better leader, supervisor, manager, and most of all a better individual in an organization. In this assignment, I will express a structure for achieving individual excellent, and focus on an ultimate goal of going into the human services field. This paper will look into a force analysis, which enlists my personal drives and forces in each of the following human services aspects. Such as managing the environment, planning and program design, organizational design, human resource development, supervision, financial management, information systems, program evaluations, and leadership and organizational change. This paper will also examine each of Peter's Senge's Five Disciplines, and the meaning and a self-assessment of the five disciplines.

Force Analysis:

I work in the medical field, and not currently working in the human services field. Therefore, I will use my personal life experiences as a reference. Managing the environment is able to monitor trends in the environment constantly, from local, to state levels, to sometimes global level (Lewis, 2007). Working in the medical field for the past ten years, I have no choice but to monitor my environment. Frequently, I have to work in various areas with different individuals with different sets of mind on things. I tend to adapt well to new changes and to new situations when it happens. I like to pay very close attention to details so my work can be done in a professional way. I do not like to ask questions unless I do not understand something because most of the times I already know what the answers are. I observe very well and always keep an open-mind on everything. A restraining force that I have, and do not like is not asking questions even if I do not understand something. Many times I refrain from asking questions because I do not want to ask the wrong question. Studying human services this will be one barrier that I have to overcome once I am in the field.
