1 Introduction
ABC ltd one of the companies which sells computers and several others kind of electronic devices. A decision was made to conduct a survey of consumers about their satisfaction. 150 questionnaires were sent to respondents and 100 replies were observed. This report was done on the basis of postal survey and random sampling process.
i) Advantages and disadvantages of random sampling and a postal survey
Advantages of Random Sampling process
a) It takes short time to complete..
b) This method is very simple.
c) This process is cheaper.
Disadvantages of Random Sampling method
A) Lacks appropriate knowledge
B) Lacks actual data
Advantages of Postal survey
A)Inexpensive method
B) Personal questions are easier

Disadvantages of Postal Survey
a)It is not sure the actual respondent has answered the questions
B) The time period is long.
2) FEMALE AND MALE WHO RESPONDED TO THE QUESTIONAIRE

The above table represents the number of female and male respondents. The total number of females was 52 and the total number of males was 48. The percentage of number of females is greater than the percentage of number of males .The female population is 52 % the male is 48 % of total population.
3) The mode of transport used split by gender

The above table represents the number of males and females who use the various mode of transport. It is shown here that the number of females who visits by car are greater than the males. Maybe the females are richer than the males. Similarly, the number of males using public transport is high .Maybe the males are poor in average.
4) The store convenience split by mode of transport

The above table represents the store convenience split by mode of transport. The people who drives car and visits the store find the convenience of store very high i.e. extremely convenient whereas only 4 people who visits the store by car said that the store is not convenient at all. Maybe they felt no comfort due to traffic jams and all.Similarly,14 people who visits the store on foot finds the store very convenient. Maybe the store is nearer to their houses.
