Essay Preview: Who Seemed to Be Most Comfortable Presenting in Front of Others?
10. Chong Jen Nee is the most comfortable presenting in front of other. She acts as the girl who characteristic like princess and very show off in the video.
Being nervous before speaking in front of others is a normal reaction that most people experience. But, Chong Jen Nee can let the nervousness take over and let her subconscious mind make her feel like a bowl of quivering jelly or take control and use the nervous energy created by the adrenalin rush to fuel the excitement for her particular video.
Here are some reasons and factors that according to her to use to decrease the nervous energy when speaking and acting in front of many people:
* The most important factor is to be prepared. She prepared before start, she has earned the right to succeed. Use whatever technique works for her, but do her best to understand and organize her parts.
* Directly related to preparation is practice. She stand in front of a full-length mirror and give her speech to herself until she do not feel strange about speaking and acting in front of her own reflection. If she is nervous about speaking and acting in front of herself, she try to use logic to evaluate the emotions that she is feeling. She try to explain to herself why she feel nervous speaking and acting to herself in front of the mirror. As she discover that there is no rational reason why she should be nervous, she will learn to accept the emotional reaction and ignore its negative effects.
* If there is time, and she is serious about doing a good job, she has find a good friend, Tan Yuh Tying who is willing to listen to her speak and act. She ask her if she will listen to her speech and share her reactions to her speaking.
* Chong Jen Nee has repeats any of these techniques as often as necessary, or as time allows, until she feel comfortable (or at least not quite as nervous).
* Even though she thinks she is prepared, the real thing will change everything! But, that's OK. Before she walk to where she will start her speaking and acting, take a deep breath and let it out slowly, remaining in control of the air as she push it out of her lungs. Take another deep cleansing breath and let the air out slowly just before she starts speaking and acting.
* After the first word comes out of her mouth, she think to herself, "Wow, I did it!" Every word that follows will be easier to share with her audience.
* She also always feels confident with herself. Confident is also the important factor or reason that make her comfortable presenting in front of others people.
