What is Making Barack Obama to be
a President in the US?
Barack Obama is an African American who was born in Hawaii, and he is also the first black U.S. president. However, not everyone can be the U.S. president. If someone wants to be the U.S. president, he or she should meet the following requirements.
At the beginning, we will talk about the basic requirements for U.S. President. If a person wants to be a U.S. president, he or she needs to fit some requirements found in the U.S. Constitution. One is age: A president must be at least 35 years old. A second relates to residency: one must live in the United States for at least 14 years. Finally, a third relates to citizenship: all presidents must be natural-born-citizen (U.S. Constitution, Article. II, section I). Barack Obama met all these requirements. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and his mother is an American. Even though when he was little, he had been to another country for studying, he came back to the United States when he was 10, so by the time of his campaign, he had been living in the United States more than 14 years. When he ran for the president, he was at the age of 46. These basic requirements gave Barack Obama the right to run for the U.S. presidency.
Barack Obama, the 44th President in the United States, has two different descents-black and white ancestries. As an excellent student, he was graduated from Columbia University. Several years later, he went to the Harvard Law School for studying (Obama biography). Throughout the history of the US presidents, we can find that most of the US presidents graduated from the famous universities (Obama biography).
